The PDP 6″ x 12″ Concept Black Wax Maple Snare Drum is named after the hand-applied wax sealant that protects the natural exterior and produces that dark, earthy matte surface. Maple is a popular wood for snare drums because it is warm and naturally EQ’d, with balanced lows, mids, and highs.
This snare has a smaller diameter than other snare drums on the market, allowing you to crank up the tuning without losing resonance or volume. It’s not as sharp and poppy as the 6″ x 10″ model, but it has more meat on its bones in terms of sound quality.
This drum features dual turret lugs, a strong MAG throw-off, True-Pitch Tuning tension rods with additional threads for precise tuning, and Remo heads.

Our policy runs for a period of 30 days. If you haven't received your item within 30 days, we're unable to offer a refund or an exchange.
In order to be eligible for a refund your product must be unopened and in the same condition that you received it in. The item must be in the original packaging.
